Afternoon Stroll

16"x12" Sepia-Copper Split Toned Print
If you walk toward the Great Wood from the Hall at Felbrigg you pass through the Beech Avenue planted in a V (for victory) shape by the then owner of the hall in honour of his brother lost in the Second World War. The trees have formed a tunnel like canopy with the light entering at the end.
I waited until a couple strolled into the entrance to the avenue to give the composition the sense of scale I thought it deserved.
