Waxham - St John
![]() 11"x14" Sepia-Blue Split-toned Print
I came across this composition by chance after wandering into the church of St John – Waxham, springtime 2003, after heading out to the coast and having the weather turning against me. A simple still life but the very rustic ledge and leaded window give it something special I think. This image is very dear to my heart as it was always my late Mums favourite, as she without doubt had the most influence and gave me the most encouragement of anyone about my photography! After her sad loss I had decided to retire the negative permanently, but my wife pointed out to me that to deny anyone else the chance of enjoying it, would have been the last thing she would have wanted me to do. |
