Bintree Mill

Bintree Mill is probably one of my favorite locations in Norfolk, tucked away on a small byroad I only stumbled over it by accident. I think it is one of the only places where I return often, as the owner is very helpful and I am allowed to roam where I like. On this occasion I returned to the mill at about 7am on a frosty morning in Dec 2004 and was treated to a barn owl sweeping between the trees and across the meadow. After waking the owner (barking dog, good job I had said I was coming) I inched out on an icy boat jetty set up the camera and waited for the light to become a little better. The millpond was perfectly still and the Poplar trees reflected beautifully in the water. |
