A New Day

20"x14" selenium toned print
The Royal Arcade Norwich, still deserted at the start of a new day.
Beautiful early-diffused light gushing through the Victorian glass roof, to me one of the most treasured places in Norwich.
This exhilarating composition was one of the first undertaken by (in my opinion the finest of all the Victorian Norwich architects) George Skipper in 1897.
It is of little surprise that other important commissions in the city followed.
I am particularly pleased with this piece, as after a lot of work the finished print positively sparkles!
