Zig-Zag
| << | ![]() 15"x10" Selenium toned Print
Early morning start to catch high tide just before sunrise near Bacton. What had taken my eye was the way the groin zig-zagged its way out to sea. On arrival I set up the camera using the largest tripod I had, giving me height above the groin, balanced myself as best I could on top and waited for the sea to lap under me. As hoped the light was soft giving me the shadow detail but still adding the contrast needed to make the image work. After a little darkroom manipulation I’m pleased as the print positively glows, making the slightly scary set up all worthwhile! |
